MoistTech IR-3000 Paper Sensor has established itself as the leader in technology for paper moisture measurement. In addition, the paper/converting industry and MoistTech are now working in close cooperation to develop advanced moisture control in all phases of paper converting.

Paper moisture measurements are critical throughout most stages in the converting industry. Processors are constantly adjusting moisture to maintain the quality of their product. If the product is too wet or too dry, the quality of the product can create problems later in the manufacturing.. Measurement of moisture in paper processing to within accuracy of +/-0.05% has resulted in improved product quality and increased productivity within substantial cost savings. Converters require measurement accuracy better than 0.1%. and MoistTech's IR-3000 is the only smart moisture sensor with this capability.

Many paper moisture sensors are installed where 100% inspection is required and quality needs to be maintained to very high standards. With the IR-3000 dryer input moisture, flow and temperature can now be monitored to these precise levels.

The model IR-3000 is optimized for online web moisture and coat weight measurements. Designed with the latest electronic technology, the IR 3000 sensor is less noisy and totally insensitive to ambient lighting. It provides users with the highest accuracy and measurement speed that is up to 20 times faster than conventional NIR instruments. In addition, the IR-3000's single modern design detector has the reliability of 10 times better than an expensive dual thermo cooled detector instruments that have also been proved to be unreliable. Lastly, pre calibration allows users to install and commission their smart process sensors within minutes.
