Over 100 years ago, a group of papermakers wanting to form a new way to distribute information regarding production met to create a new side of the American Paper and Pulp Assocaition (APPA). Soon, TAPPI was created. They are a non-profit, volunteer led association built around thousands of their members including engineers, managers, scientists, suppliers and others worldwide. With a driven focus on emerging technologies and new innovative ideas for the paper and packaging industry.
