Trash can be utilized as a good source of bioenergy, but it can be composed of up to 95% moisture. To prevent spoilage, this must be reduced to 10-15% for organic materials included in the trash.

MoistTech Provides a Solution

MoistTech’s sensor calibrations, measurement wavelengths, algorithms and sensor optical requirements are pre-set at the factory. Typical accuracy is about ±0.2% moisture. Typical analog range is 0-75% moisture. The outputs can be adjusted to optimize PLC or recording requirements.

Installation

This sensor is the state-of-the-art IR-3000 near infrared (NIR) that allows installation in the most extreme locations. It is preset at the factory and requires no further maintenance calibrations.
