For best results, install the IR-3000 measurement sensor head 4 to 14 inches from the material in storage bins, along the belt conveyor, or in down chutes. The unit includes self-powered, isolated, 3 x analog outputs at 4-20mA for communication output to a laptop, touch tablet, or across a plant network or Ethernet TCP/IP.
